Session 1: Pre-assessment and Video 1

You’re officially here—and I’m glad you are!
This page contains the pre-assessment and Video 1, which must be completed before attending our first in-person session.
These materials are designed to set the foundation for everything we’ll build together in the weeks ahead.
What to Do on This Page:
  1. Take the brief pre-assessment: (Don’t worry—it’s quick, required by the seminary and must be completed before the first video.)
  2. Watch Video 1: This short teaching video will give you the key content for our first session. It’s essential that you watch it before we meet, so we can devote our in-person time to hands-on application, not lecture.
  3. Complete the Listening Guide: These are short questions to make sure you understand the content being present.
This should all take about 25-30 minutes.
🗓️ What’s Coming Next: Here’s the flow for the full conference experience:
  • ✅ Register
  • ✅ Pre-Assessment
  • 🎥 Video 1 (with listening guide)
  • 🤝 In-Person Session 1
  • 🎥 Video 2 (with listening guide)
  • 🤝 In-Person Session 2
  • 🎥 Video 3 (with listening guide)
  • 🤝 In-Person Session 3
  • 🗣️ Personalized Church Consultation (scheduled after the conference)
About the In-Person Sessions: Each in-person session will begin with a brief overview, then move into collaborative, practical work. You’ll also begin building your Leadership Portfolio—a tool to help you design a training system that fits your unique church context.

Let’s Get Started: Begin with the pre-assessment below, then dive into Video 1. And don’t forget your listening guide!

Lead. Equip. Train. Assessment

Welcome to the conference assessment; it is designed to get a snapshot of what you know regarding the content that is covered in the sessions. You will take it once BEFORE the first video and AFTER the final session. These questions are not meant to be overly complicated, and it should only take about 15 minutes to finish
